Video Story

Located in Sichuan Province, Leshan is situated at the confluence of three rivers. It is home to the Leshan Giant Buddha—the world's largest cliff-carved statue of the Maitreya Buddha. Leshan is also renowned as a "capital of gastronomy." Visitors can reach the city from Chengdu in just about 41 minutes via high-speed rail.

Sweet-skinned Duck: Features crispy skin and a sweet yet not cloying flavor; "Zhao Yazi" is a representative brand. Leshan *Boboji* (Skewers in Chili Oil): A cold-pot skewer dish featuring a mix of meat and vegetables in a broth that is numbing, spicy, savory, and aromatic. Tofu Pudding: Often served with steamed beef with rice flour or braised pork intestines for a rich texture. Food Districts: Zhanggongqiao Food Street and the Shangzhongshun Cultural District are highly recommended for their wide variety of authentic local delicacies.
