The guzheng, also known as the "Qin zheng" or "Han zheng," is a traditional Chinese plucked string instrument with a history of over two thousand years. It mainly consists of a soundbox, strings, and freely movable bridges ("zheng pegs"). Modern guzheng typically has 21 strings, possessing a broad and beautiful tone, and is hailed as the "Oriental piano" due to its rich expressiveness.
