Itinerary

Day 1 | Pandas, Ancient Temples & Modern Chengdu

Your journey begins at the world-famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you'll watch giant pandas eating bamboo, climbing trees, and playing in a natural environment.

Continue to the peaceful Wenshu Monastery, one of Chengdu's oldest Buddhist temples. Here you'll experience a slower side of the city and enjoy a traditional local lunch featuring the famous Zhong Dumplings.

In the afternoon, discover the contrast between old and new Chengdu while strolling through Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, where historic temples blend seamlessly with luxury boutiques, cafés, and contemporary architecture.

Day 2 | History, Tea Culture & Local Life

Visit the iconic Wuhou Shrine, dedicated to Zhuge Liang and the heroes of the Three Kingdoms period. Then wander through the charming streets of Jinli Ancient Street, filled with traditional architecture, local crafts, and authentic street food.

In the afternoon, slow down at People's Park, where locals gather every day to drink tea, play mahjong, dance, and enjoy life.

You'll experience Chengdu's famous covered-bowl tea tradition and have the opportunity to try the city's unique ear-cleaning experience — a centuries-old local custom.

Your journey concludes with an authentic Sichuan hotpot dinner, where our guide will teach you how locals mix their own dipping sauces.
